Professional Behavior Services

Supported Independence Service of Oregon, LLC. provides behavior consultation services to those who struggle to support individuals with challenging behaviors. Through assessment and observation, we can provide strategies and tools to help individuals learn appropriate behavior alternatives and build adaptive skills.

Intended for immediate relief, or crisis; a TESP outlines the behavior supports needed to assist an individual who is exhibiting challenging behavior.

This invaluable document describes an individual’s exhibited behavior and the underlying causes, or functions, of the behavior.

We can reduce the frequency, severity or intensity of an individual’s behavior, as well as give you tools to assist the individual, in this document.

Through unique interview and observation techniques we analyze challenging behavior to determine its function.

Once the function of the behavior has been identified, we can create person-centered support documents. These documents outline strategies that can be used to easily decrease inappropriate and/or unsafe behaviors.

Providers, families and caregivers are then provided in-person training on the tools and support strategies.

The success of the plan is then tracked, and revisions are completed based on feedback from the providers, family and caregivers.
